Geraint is an ex professional rugby player whom won 16 caps for Wales and played his club carrier at Pontypridd, Swansea, Rotherham, Bath and Bristol.
As a WRU Player Development Officer for the Cynon Valley it is my role to work with schools and clubs in the area to promote and encourage the playing of rugby union of both genders. I oversee and coach the Cynon Valley representative rugby programme at both Under 14 and 15 which involves using an holistic approach to develop young rugby players to their full potential. Competition and festivals are organised both in the school and club setting while skill development days are used to further increase opportunity for the enjoyment and development of junior rugby players in the valley.
