Gethin Jenkins

Gethin Jenkins played in all three of the Lions tests in New Zealand in the summer of 2005 and has won over 40 caps for Wales. He joined the Cardiff Blues in 2003 from the Celtic Warriors in 2004
A versatile prop he can play on either side of the scrum. Gethin became a national hero in Wales when his charge down try against Ireland at the Millennium Stadium in 2005 secured the Grand Slam for Wales for the first time for over 20 years.
Gethin Jenkins, a winner on his debut for Wales against Romania in Wrexham in 2003, was in the Wales squad for the South African tour of 2002. He made his Wales A debut as a replacement against Uruguay in 2002 and was picked to start the match against Scotland A in April of the same year. He has had experience with Treorchy and is a Wales U21 cap winner
He won Welsh senior schools caps in 1999 against Australia and France from Bryncelynnog Comprehensive. After a powerful performance against England U21 A he won full U21 caps against England, Scotland, France and Italy. Gethin is a member of the Wales 2007 RWC squad.
