Ben Blair has extended his contractual commitment to the Cardiff Blues until 2012, but former captain Xavier Rush has decided to call time on his five year association with the Blues to pursue another challenge in Northern Ireland with Ulster Rugby.
Having recorded a 38 to 23 bonus point win over the Scarlets last weekend, the Blues now have a home semi- final against last season's beaten finalists Gloucester, on Sunday 14 Match, 4.15pm kick off.
