Fans urged to walk 'The Blue Mile'
Red Dragon FM and Cardiff Blues have joined together to celebrate the team’s move to their new home. To mark the historic occasion, they are organising a charity walk from the Cardiff Arms Park to the new Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 18th of July at 11am.
Cardiff Blues players Tom Shanklin and Gary Powell plus Red Dragon FM breakfast presenter Kam Kelly have already signed up and are urging more fans to join them in the short walk from the Arms Park to the new stadium.
Blues and Wales Centre, Tom Shanklin said: “I’m delighted to be able to support two great charities, Cancer Research Wales and Help A South Wales Child, by taking part in the sponsored walk.”
“We are encouraging all our supporters to join us on the walk, which ends up at the new stadium. We will be holding our Open Day there in the afternoon so it should be a great day out for the whole family and a chance for supporters to see inside the stadium for the first time.”
All the money raised from the walk will be donated to Red Dragon FM’s charity Help A South Wales Child and the Cardiff Blues nominated charity Cancer Research Wales. To sign up to do the walk go to the registration page at Red Dragon FM now - simply click here>>
